My Menu Plan for this week is follows:

Sunday January 9th – Shepherds Pie

Monday January 10th – Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli

Tuesday January 11thTurkey Meatloaf, veggie, potatoes

Wednesday January 12th – Leftovers/Sandwiches

Thursday January 13th – Lasagna, salad, garlic toast

Friday January 14th – Salmon Cakes, mac and cheese, veggie

Saturday January 15th – Pork Loin, veggie and potatoes

Well the first week went well! I’m excited to making all of the family favorites this week. I’m doing it because I will be gone for a few days next week for The Blissdom Conference and they will be fending for themselves! However, my hubby is the chef in the house and I’ll probably get a text while I’m gone saying he’s making one of my favorites! He did that when I went to Type-A Conference a few months ago. Ha-Ha.

I love the fact that we share the duties in cooking. ( This gal really doesn’t like to cook but does because it’s a responsibility, we gotta eat!) I make the menu and go to the grocery store. But he never complains when I put something on there that is his specialty. He also jumps right in to help me! Thank you babe! I thank God for a man who likes to cook and is awesome at it!!! :)

Does your husband help you in the kitchen? How do you share responsibilities?

I have linked up to Org Junkie’s Menu Plan Monday.

Blessings Lovelies,

Chele

He eats, dries the dishes, and puts them away. That is the extent of his involvement in the family culinary activities. I’m good with that, but it would be nice if he could boil noodles without guidance. This guy is a genius, right up to the minute you put him in the kitchen and ask him for food.
