An Unusual Visit to Wendy’s

We went to the mountains this weekend. I will share more later this week. However, I was also invited over the weekend to go to a meetup with other bloggers at Wendy’s in Raleigh. I could not go due to other priorities, like getting to the mountains on time for check in. So, we found a Wendy’s in Cashiers, NC. Isn’t it cool? Never saw anything like it! As a matter of fact, we looked for a Wendy’s close by and couldn’t find one right away… almost missed it because the sign was not the usual Wendy’s sign. This for sure, was an unusual visit to Wendy’s!

Now for the real reason I am here. When I was asked to try a salad from Wendy’s. I really was hesitant. I don’t eat salads from fast food. Nor do I like them. They usually are not fresh.To be quite honest when I think of fast food, I want a burger! Boy was I in for a huge surprise! Every single thing on their new Berry Almond Chicken Salad was fresh and delicious. Even my husband was surprised and he doesn’t like salads! If there is one place you can go for a fast food salad, it IS Wendy’s! I am still in awe. The salad was good later too! It was a huge salad and had to take some for leftovers!

Now for the fun stuff… the hubby thought he was funny taking photos of me while eating. Okay, well I thought they were funny too. Ha-Ha!

So yes indeed, this was a very unusual visit to Wendy’s!
