Virtual Travel Tuesday

Okay ya’ll you know I can’t help it. I saw this last week from my friend Sarah Mae’s blog. You need to take time to read her post I DO NOT have it all together. Why this Myth?. These are the types of posts I love, the REAL ones! She even added this video that my family and I have watched many times since I first saw it.

Even the 4 yo was walking around singing in my swaggar wagon! So we now have a new name for our mini-van! LOL

I have a future virtual stop I would love you to make especially if you are a blogger! Tonight at 7pm (est time) Gather Inspirit will be on TV. No, that’s on the internet not on your big screen television! We will be talking about Finding Balance in Blogging! I cannot wait because God knows, I am really struggling with home, church/community, and two blogs! Not only that we may be moving fairly soon. So I have to make time for packing too! I won’t be on the screen live but I will be in the chat. Being on screen will be a little while for me.

Virtual Travel Tuesday

This is in no particular order. Just my top ten links from the past week that I wanted to share with you. I think you should spend time traveling over to their blogs. It definitely was not a waste of time for me! All you need is your cup of coffee (or tea)! Enjoy!

Ashley at Putting God First Place is trying to get to the Relevant Conference and she is doing a neat thing called Give! Win! Send! Go check her out and help her if you can!

My fun friend Stef at Layton Family Joy wrote I’m Not Ann Voskamp. I could have sworn she was writing about me!

Since I have 3 boys I have joined in at Home with the Boys in the #mobsociety aka – For Every Mother of Boys

Over at Gussy she said {Idid it! I did it!}… so I had to read this one! She is going to share over the next few weeks how she was able to quit her job and stay home full time. I know I’m interested!

Marci at Overcoming Busy wrote last week about how to Overcome Busy with Menu Planning. Those of you who mentioned yesterday that you would love to start this or restart this… some awesome tools for you over there!

Alicia over at Confessions of a Snowflake wrote about the need to Release The Passion. We’ve all been there, writers block trying to figure out what to do next. If you are having trouble, go read her post!

Sheila at To Love Honor and Vacuum wrote this post about older teens and what they are thinking, why they want a baby. Go check her post out here. I had to share because I’ve been this girl she’s talking about. At least to a point. I could write a book!

My good friend Teri Lynne at Pleasing to You has written about Discipline. What a convicting post based off Psalm 119! And this is only Part 1!!

Michelle over at Scribbit has asked Are You Raising A Narcissist? She had a lot of people disagree with her thoughts. However, I completely, 100% agree with her! People just don’t get that you need to be Loving Your Spouse More Than Your Kids! Here’s another one I could write a book about! Ha-ha!

Over at Blogging With Amy, she shares a lot of advice on how to’s. I really love her posts! They have been so helpful. This one about How to Create a Task or To-Do List in Gmail is awesome!! I’m trying it this week!

Friday Reflections – Beautiful Bloggers

I never thought I would get an award from another blogger. I absolutely had in my head I wasn’t good enough to be awarded anything in blogging. I guess I’m wrong! I also said if I got one, I wouldn’t do it because it seems like one of those emails that you read over and over again from different people. Yea my head just went blank! LOL! However I needed this right now! Thank you God for putting beautiful bloggers in my midst.

The Rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you for this award and insert a link to their blog.

2. List seven things about yourself.

3. Pass on the award to about 15 other bloggers who you recently discovered and think are great!

Seven things about me:

1. I’m very good at coming up with ideas. Good ones too! Executing is a whole other story, as long as I have the support the idea will happen!

2. I really get stuck on writing my posts because of too many thoughts. Like way too many thoughts!

3. Many days I keep my hat on all day just because I can!

4. I actually enjoy watching my husband play on the X-Box, as long as it doesn’t cut into my time with him.

5. I laugh at people when they get hurt. Now if they are seriously hurt that is a different story. My family calls it a sick sense of humor. You know laughing at TV shows when someone falls. Even laughing at my child when he walks into the wall, yes I’m laughing just thinking about it! hahaha

6. Contrary to some beliefs (or stereotyping) about me, I do love my children, I do play with them, I want everything good for them, they are 4 of the biggest blessings God could give me… I just choose not to share it here very much. That’s all.

7. It took me approximately 45 minutes to write these 7 things down.

I know the directions above say 15 people. However, I am sharing with you only the people that God has led me to ask and they accepted to be a part of my big… no HUGE project (shhh, it’s a secret for now!) They are beautiful ladies, helpful and encouraging! I probably won’t do this everytime I get an award but this was just perfect timing!
